Middlesex League Champions and, for only the 2nd time in Melrose history and the 1st time since 1982, the Red Raiders earned a trip to the the play-offs.  The offense averaged more than 30 points a game and the defense allowed only 11 points per game.

The 2013 Red Raiders had a remarkable year by battling through a difficult Middlesex League and a newly devised - and lengthy -playoff sytsem.  According to Coach Morris, the team came together and did some great things.

Fielding another talented team of work horses, the Red Raiders ground out wins and earned Middlesex League and NorthWest Division honors and were back on the road to the Superbowl.

After 2 trips to the Super Bowl in 4 years and 1 in 1982, the Red Raiders claimed the  2017 D3NW MIAA State Champions after a historic undefeated season where they faced 12 teams on the way to the Championship.

2020

Middlesex League Champions

The 2020 Red Raiders continue the legacy of being a part of the most successful decade in Melrose history completing a perfect season allowing only 27 points and scoring 185 in only 6 games.  The season was shortened due to COVID19 with no playoffs or Super Bowl.

2007

Captains Mike Fimiani, Shaun Foss, Sean Morris, & Ryan Webster

Picked to finish seventh in the league, the 2007 Red Raiders upended the statistical gurus predictions, earning the Middlesex League title, beat Wakefield on Thanksgiving for the 1st time in 14 years , and earning a Division 2 Playoff berth.

2014

MIAA Division 3 NorthWest Champions

MIAA Division 3 State Championship Berth

4-1 league l 10-3 Overall

Captains Chris Devir, Jack Hickey, Jake Karelas & Zach Mercer

For the first time in 33 years Melrose earned a trip to the Superbowl  with the best defensive line in recent history.  The Red Raiders plowed through the playoffs beating higher seeded teams in games filled with goal line stands, breakout runs and high light reel catches.

4-1 League l 8-3 Overall

Captains Steven Abbott, Colin Casey & Mike Pedrini

With 2 Super Bowl appearances and three sectional championships in a row there were high expectations for the 2016 Raiders.  They had a great season in a very competitive league, winning 8 games, beating Wakefield, and earning a hard-fought share in the league title.

Another historical season.  The Red Raiders were undefeated again, not having lost a game since 2018.  The outscored opponents 445-105 and went on to beat Plymouth South in the Division 4N State Finals.
